  • 25g Whole Egg Powder
  • 75g Water
  • 32g (2 tablespoons) Organic Peanut Butter
  • 130g (½ cup) Organic Pumpkin Puree
  • 3.4g (~½ teaspoon) Salt
  • 1g (~½ teaspoon) Cinnamon Powder
  • 0.5g (~¼ teaspoon) Potassium Sorbate
  • *More Flour for Dusting Work Surface

Equipment

  • Stand Mixer with Dough Hook
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Cookie Cutters
  • rolling Pin

Timing

Active Time: 15 Minutes
Total Time: 1 Hour

Yield

25 – 50 Treats Depending on Size

  • Create Dough

Combine dry ingredients (flour, cinnamon, salt, and whole egg powder) in mixing bowl.

Add pumpkin puree, and peanut butter to the mixing bowl, allow the dough hook to mix until a crumbly dry mix forms that resembles wet sand (~1min).
  • Prepare Potassium Sorbate

While the dough is mixing, Add potassium sorbate to water and allow to dissolve, then add to mixer and knead the dough for ~ 5min.

The dough will pull from the sides of the bowl and be dry enough to handle without sticking to your hand.

If the dough is still too dry, add an additional tablespoon of water and continue kneading. Repeat as needed.

If the dough is too wet, add an additional tablespoon of flour and continue kneading. Repeat as needed.
  • Roll, Shape, and Bake Treats

Roll dough to ½ inch thickness on a floured surface and cut pieces to desired shape.

Arrange on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 50min-1hr @ 350°F until deep brown in color and cookies have a dry hard consistency.

Cool completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature.
