If there was a taste that defined childhood it would be Nutella. So many mornings and afternoon spent spreading that thick hazelnut chocolate goodness on toasted pieces of white bread or getting it into every last nook and cranny of an English muffin. Okay, who are we kidding, we still love it!
Now with a little N Zorbit you can have all of the delicious nostalgia with none of the thick mess of trying to scoop it or spread it just right. Dust your Nutella snow over your buttered English muffin for a healthier version of the classic. Or level up your cupcakes, ice creams and basically anything else you want to taste better. And if you ever want to eat a few spoonfuls straight up… we’ve definitely never done that before.

I got the N-Zorbit just to try this recipe. I followed the recipe as measured with a food processor except I used a standard sieve instead of superbag, since I don’t have one. I tried it by itself, on a graham cracker, and on a fried plantain. I expected a lot more Nutella flavor. It was a pretty bland version of the real stuff, even with a ton of powder. I got someone else to taste test and she was able to guess it kind of tasted like chocolate, but it took a lot of hints to guess Nutella. We ended up just spreading Nutella on to compare and obviously it was way better. I’m keeping my mason jar of the powder around to maybe try on popcorn one day; it seems like the only use case that I might find it worth it. Oh well, fun experiment, but disappointing results!
Hey John, email us at service@modernistpantry.com and we can help you troubleshoot. Sounds like there may be too much powder that’s diluting the Nutella.
