If you’re looking for a sweet and simple apple sauce, check this one out. With a subtle dash of ascorbic acid, this brightens up the flavors while keeping everything green and fresh. The cinnamon/sugar combo is a classic, and a little vanilla extract goes a long way!

Ingredients

  • 200g (2 EA) Fresh Apple
  • 30g (30g) Sugar
  • 2.4g (½ tsp) Ascorbic Acid
  • 2g (1/2 tsp) Vanilla Extract
  • .25g (â…› tsp) Ground Cinnamon

Equipment

  • Box Grater
  • Mixing Bowl

Timing

Active Time: 5 Minutes

Total Time: 10 Minutes

Yield

4-6 Servings

  • Create Shredded Apple Sauce

    Peel and grate apples.

    Add the sugar, ascorbic acid, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Gently mix until evenly distributed.

    Wrap tightly and refrigerate until needed, can hold up to 7 days.
