WTF DIY Nougat: Egg Whites vs Versawhip

A traditional nougat is made with egg whites, but can we make a plant-based version that tastes just as good? Versawhip is commonly used as an egg white replacer specifically when creating meringues. Scott and Janie put this plant-based whipping agent to the test by creating a version of our childhood fave – the Snickers bar… on this week’s WTF.

    Snickers were my favorite candy bar before going vegan. I have made a snickers vegan macaron using aquafaba. Can the versawhip be used for macarons? I would love to try it!
